🕐 Update Frequency
Exchange prices are fetched every hour on weekdays from real market sources and stored in our database. The widget polls our database every 30 seconds, so it picks up new prices almost instantly after each hourly update. FX rates refresh daily from ECB.
🏦 What the Price Represents
Prices shown are spot / near-month prices — the rate for immediate or near-term delivery. For India & Japan, consumer-facing taxes are included. For USD, it's the raw COMEX benchmark before local taxes.

What does the * asterisk mean?
When you see a * next to a price, it means that specific metal & currency combination is calculated by converting the international COMEX spot price using a live FX rate — not sourced directly from that country's local exchange. This applies to Korean Won (KRW), Russian Ruble (RUB), and all base metals (Platinum, Palladium, Copper, Aluminum) in any non-USD currency. Gold and Silver in USD, INR, CNY, JPY, GBP, and EUR always show real local exchange prices.
